TISH | SELECTED AS OPENING GALA FILM AT SHEFFIELD DOCFEST
We’re over the moon that Tish has been chosen as the Opening Gala film at Sheffield DocFest on Wednesday, 14 June, for our World Premiere!
This is a huge honour in a fitting city to launch a film about a photographer whose images show the fun, mischief, and ingenuity of working class communities. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Tish Murtha used her camera to interrogate the detrimental impact of Thatcherism and deindustrialisation. More than forty years later, her images retain an urgency and empathy that speak to the concerns faced by people struggling to pay for food and energy bills in the present day. While this film celebrates the calibre of Tish’s work, it also asks questions about the value placed on working class artists and the communities that nurture them. These are important questions, now more than ever.
With thanks to our partners BFI, Doc Society, Screen Scotland & BBC.

DAMAGED | SAMUEL L. JACKSON & VINCENT CASSEL TO LEAD ACTION THRILLER
Proud to have been Art Director on upcoming crime thriller Damaged, filmed in Scotland.
_
“BAFTA Award-winning actor Samuel L. Jackson and Vincent Cassel, two screen greats who are not newbies to pulsating movies have set their next intercontinental thriller. The pair are set to lead the cast for Red Sea Media and BondIt Media Capital in their upcoming action thriller, Damaged, per Deadline.
The story of Damaged will follow that of a Chicago police officer travels to Scotland after discovering that a new serial killer's acts are similar to those he looked into five years prior, one of which was the scene of his girlfriend's murder, probably blurring the lines of justice and vengeance for the officer in question. Filming is underway in Scotland with Red Sea Media and Bondit Media Capital partnering with Scottish streamer Stream Digital in making the film. Damaged is set to be helmed by Terry McDonagh (with episode credits in Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad). The film is produced by Paul Aniello and Red Sea’s Roman Kopelevich.”

DIRECTOR MARII STOLTSEN OF SPRITELIGHT PICTURES ON SHOOTING "COYOTE"
“Still reeling from this reality a bit, but people - we just shot Coyote.
That’s right, a year after the failure of the crowdfunder that shall henceforth never be named again, there was a meeting that changed everything. It was with a most unique individual named Siam Colvine, who heard the plot and simply said, ‘we are making this movie’. That was about 4 weeks ago and in that time we managed to rally pro bono equipment, locations and incredibly talented actors and crew. They all came together this weekend and it’s in the can! I am so excited and also a bit in shock as it happened all so quickly. We are off to post now, but keep watching this space for updates and BTS teasers. Here’s a quick snippet of our on-set audience from yesterday’s shoot day to whet your curiosity.”
